I truly do Love Valentines Day…..not for the day or the gifts….but for the feeling…Valentines Day puts LOVE in the air…all the stores are decorated, bustling with lovers trying to find the perfect “something” and it celebrates all love…. young, new, old and everything in between!
 This years Valentines I must say has been the best one thus far…..I seem to be in awe a lot lately…. of my life in general and the wonderful people in it. This year, as I said in the last post we celebrated early and it was perfect! (I truly have learned that it isn’t the date that matters but the moments)….We went out for a Valentines Dinner and Laken had everyone in the restaurant laughing and smiling. (It’s Amazing how much joy he brings to not only us but to everyone else as well.) We ended the evening cuddled up with a movie, truly nothing more perfect!
 To celebrate Valentines day I also hosted a Valentines Day Party for all the babes from our baby group…( which are now toddlers….so hard to grasp…) I know I say this every time but I’m blessed to have these women in my life they are beyond Fabulous!! Here are some pictures from the Party!

It feels like we’re bursting with love lately and what a better month then February to celebrate it! Laken loves giving hugs and kisses and there is just no better feeling then when he runs up and wraps his arm around you and lands a big wet kiss on your cheek!

February started out big at our house!! Laken is now in a big boy bed!!! It started with a gut curdling scream coming from Laken’s room…only to find him teetering on his crib rail…so the transition…if that’s what you want to call it of changing the crib into a bed began that afternoon! Laken had no reservations about changing his crib into a bed he was sooo excited! It’s worked out fabulously and he remains a great sleeper!

For Valentines day this year we got Laken a fish tank…he is outright obsessed with fish and by far it is his favourite word!, so needless to say he was soo excited to have his very own fish tank and shows everyone at least five times when they come to visit!

Here are a few sneak peeks of Laken is his Big Boy Bed!!  Making Valentines for the Valentines party we’re hosting and opening his gifts from Gama and Papa along with treats from Mom and Dad!
