August Consisted of more 1sts! On August 8th Brett Rolled from her back to her Tummy, 1st ride in Papa's Grand Prix, Starts putting everything into her mouth, Mommy and Brett Have a weekend just the two of them while Laken's in Granum. Brett meets Great Grandma Mcallister for the first time. 1st Parade, Pushes herself onto her knees, 1st rice cookie...Even tries to crawl!

The Challenge we've had with Brett is that she wont take a bottle... During the first 2 weeks after Brett was born I was pretty much was bed ridden due to a spinal headache from the epidural I received. As a result it was just easier to strictly breastfeed. Now the reason we wanted her on a bottle... Angie is getting married and I am in the bridal party...which means I'll be away from her during pictures and she'll need to be fed. I've tried taking her out to visit Marks cousin, leaving for the day and having Lyn's try and get her to take a bottle.. to no avail... she's got her Mom and Dads stubbornness! 8 hours with not taking a bottle a very sore mommy and no luck :(. It took Mark spending the day with her to finally get her to take a bottle!! Huge Day at our house! of course it was also with the assistance of Laken's help!
