Happy Dads Day and More...

Laken’s Hero absolutely consists of his Daddy . By far Laken’s most favorite person in the world! You meet a boy…you fall in love “head over heels in love” then he asks you to marry him…. He becomes your husband…again head over heels in love…with a twist…just a little bit sweeter…Then that man becomes a dad….your heart melts, your head over heels, heart bursting and a whole new love for “that boy” you first fell in love with blossoms into to something only those who have experienced can understand….it’s just not possible to be able too put it into words…
Mark is an Amazing Dad and I feel so blessed to have him as a husband. Mark worked this weekend but we celebrated early with cards and gifts. So To all the Dads out there Happy Fathers Day!!! xoxo

　
About my birthday…there have been few, but just this year I’m turning Two!
　
Where has the time gone?? Laken will be turning two in eight weeks and like last year we did a group birthday for the kids like we did last year with the Baby steps group, but a bit lower key this year…which was just as nice!
It honestly feels like just the other day we were bring our brand new baby boy home and now he’s two….A huge side of me wants to sob and stop time, and the other part of me is just so excited to see what is around the next bend as the rides this far has been beyond Mark and Is wildest dreams.
With all of us in our Mommy’s group back to work, raising our kids, being wives, some are moving into bigger homes, trying to fit life in general and a few are expecting number two right away here…We’ve been finding it hard just to get together, so this year we decided if the weather would cooperate we would head to the park for a picnic and let the kids just play, and that they did!! It was so nice to get to together, visit and just enjoy the kids!
