ShOe LaCeS uNtiEd: Sneak peek at Christmas and Saying Hello to 2011

As 2010 sails away and 2011 arrives it’s crazy to think how much has happened in a year…… I eagerly await to see what 2011 holds and cannot wait for all the plans we have for the future! Love will be a huge theme for 2011 as we have friends and family alike tying the “knot”, which we couldn’t be more excited for! Mark and I will also be celebrating 5 years of marriage! We look forward to new adventures, challenges, as well as spending time with family and friends!

Christmas was Amazing this year and by far one of the best. Even with myself working Christmas eve and Mark working Christmas day, it truly was about the time spent with family and friends. We celebrated Christmas at our house early having our annual “Christmas eve Surf and Turf” with My little brother, his wonderful girl friend Kayla, Amazing brother in law Jesse and Amy who is more like a sister then a best friend! It was such a fun night and lots of laughs where shared! As well we celebrated Christmas Day early with gifts from Santa, appetizers, Turkey dinner and all the fixings. Jesse (Mark’s brother) opened gifts with us in the morning and Grandma, Papa and Aunty Angie Joined us for dinner, along with my Fabulous Aunt Trudy, who‘s also Laken‘s Gran! The 25th of December Laken and I Went up to visit my Aunt and cousin’s who we haven’t had the chance to spend Christmas with in years! It was Amazing and this year really felt like we got the chance to enjoy the season instead of rushing through the motions.

It was so much fun to watch Laken this year truly experience everything that was Christmas! The excitement of Christmas this year was unbelievable, and the look on Laken’s face was priceless! Cannot wait for all the Christmas’s ahead and time with family and friends!
